Overview

CodeVella provides local-first tools for developers, makers, testers, and ecommerce workflows. Our tools are designed to run locally in your browser whenever possible, so the content you paste into a tool does not need to be uploaded to our servers.

Information processed by tools

Tool inputs such as JSON, text, images, tokens, CSV data, generated names, and calculator values are processed in your browser. We do not require an account to use these tools.

Information we may receive

Like most websites, hosting infrastructure may receive basic technical information such as IP address, browser type, request URL, timestamps, and error logs. If you contact us by email, we receive the information you choose to send.

Local storage

CodeVella may use local storage in your browser for interface preferences, such as remembering light or dark mode. This data stays on your device unless you clear it or your browser syncs it through your own settings.

Cookies, ads, and analytics

CodeVella uses Google Analytics 4 to understand which pages and tools are used, how people navigate the tool library, and which tool actions are clicked. Analytics events may include page URLs, referrers, device and browser information, approximate location, tool name, tool category, tool slug, button/action labels, filter category, search length, and result counts.

Analytics events are not designed to include the content you paste into tools, generated output, uploaded file contents, JSON payloads, tokens, passwords, email addresses, phone numbers, synthetic address records, images, or contact form message text.

CodeVella may also load Google AdSense scripts for site verification and advertising. Google and its partners may use cookies or similar technologies to measure ads, prevent fraud, and personalize or limit advertising according to Google's policies and your settings.

Google may process analytics and advertising data according to its own policies. You can limit this by blocking cookies or JavaScript in your browser, using browser privacy controls, adjusting Google ad settings, or installing Google's Analytics opt-out browser add-on.

Data retention

Tool inputs are not intentionally stored by CodeVella. Server logs and emails may be retained for security, debugging, support, and operational purposes.
